This piece marks the moment when life returns to the earth.
At its centre a tree rises from the soil, its roots tangled in the ground while its branches push upward toward the light. Behind it a radiant green halo suggests both sun and seed. The instant when dormant life begins to stir again.
The title plays with the phrase “hope springs eternal”. In this piece spring is both season and action. Hope does not wait. It rises.

Constructed from layered vintage and reclaimed textiles, ( cottons) the garment forms a patchwork landscape where colour, pattern, and growth coexist. Each fragment carries its own history, stitched together into a living field of renewal.
Within the Elemental Mythology series, this piece represents emergence. The force that follows dormancy. The moment when life insists on returning.
