This garment is my visual artist’s response to a global conflict so complex that it is hard to find words to describe it. 
All I can do to soothe my soul is pray for wholeness , balance and peace , to focus on bringing in the resolution and solution. So here we have an elegant robe made in muted earth tones and subtle gold overprinting but with highly complex , clashing patterns merging into a pleasing whole . The back features a hand painted,  jeweled dove of peace , a large yin Yang symbol made from white and silver reversible sequin , surrounded by red poppies and a singular white poppy : a symbol of non violent protest . 
The sleeves are 3/4 length and are trimmed with gold/ midnight blue flock trim .Large patch pockets on the front .
