I’ve hand made two coordinating, unique  pieces of #wearableart that are available separately but will be conceptually linked together forever . One full length ( Peacock) and the other jacket length ( swallows). 
In a time of #culturewars & #divideandconquer when #diversity is weaponised , I shall emphasise our deep #commonality as human beings. 
The second in the concept pair is Swallows , this gorgeous jacket length robe that is made from reclaimed soft batik print cotton , combined with purple/ orange metallic brocade and pale pink and grey bird print , partially lined ,sleeves. The hem and sides are trimmed with purple/ gold metallic brocade and the neckline  and pockets match the sleeve , orange/ purple metallic brocade. The back features a visually rich applique of silver and jade lilies and swallows appliqued over a  silver sequin  panel.
