The Phoenix is an ancient symbol of rebirth through adversity, and appears on the back of the jacket surrounding a golden orb on  a flaming orange disc. Two beaded phoenix feathers adorn the front . 
The body is made of pure cotton Ankara , the sleeves a rich Indian raised printed linen look fabric trimmed with satin ribbon and the neckline is trimmed with a rich gold flecked satin print and ribbon. Pockets on the front also trimmed with satin ribbon. 
The hemline is decorated with a Chinese wave print in fiery orange / red and it is partially lined in deep red.
